Where children learn Icelandic by meeting peers and learning from engaging teachers

The Icelandic School in London is run on Sunday mornings in north London, where children aged 3-16 will have the opportunity to meet, play and sing with Icelandic speaking peers and older children will be taught Icelandic by engaging native speaking teachers.
Our Classes
In the 2025 Autumn term, classes will be run at 10am-12pm every other Sunday at Drayton Park Primary School in Highbury.
Classes in Spring term 2026 will take place on the following dates:
Jan 11, Jan 25, Feb 8, Feb 22, Mar 8, Mar 22.

Our Teachers
Our instructors are native-speaking Icelanders who have experience of teaching children of all ages. We also have teaching assistants, also native Icelandic speakers who help out in the classroom.
