We run classes for children aged 3-16. Our teachers are native Icelandic speakers with experience in the classroom, either from Icelandic schools or elsewhere.
Spóar: Toddler class
For ages ca. 3-5, lots of singing, games and learning basic words and phrases to communicate with peers and parents.
Tjaldar: Kids class
For ages ca. 6-8. Learn to read and write with peers under the guidance of a trained teacher. Also, plenty of games and fun activities to practice speaking.
Kríur: Older kids/ teens
For kids aged 9-13 and up. Based on the ability of the children attending, we practice vocabulary and speaking, play games in Icelandic and read simple texts.
Lóur: Stay and play
We are no longer charging for kids aged 1-2 or hosting an organised stay-and-play. Parents are however welcome to bring children of that age and meet other parents and children.
Register for a class
All of our classes cost the same and there is a sibling discount. Our sponsors make it possible for us to have our classes as affordable as possible.
The term dates for Spring 2026 are Jan 11, Jan 25, Feb 8, Feb 22, Mar 8, Mar 22.
One child, Spring term 2026. £120 for six classes.
