
Álfdís Þorleifsdóttir
Álfdís teaches Icelandic at a secondary and college level in London, where she lives with her husband and two children. Álfdís has a master’s degree in Icelandic Literature and a degree in teaching Icelandic at college level from the University of Iceland. Álfdís has taught at the Icelandic school since it was founded in 2019.

Brynja B. Herbertsdóttir
Brynja moved to London in 2009 to study acting. She lives in the Holloway area with her family and works for Real Nappies for London and audio narration. Brynja started teaching for the Icelandic School in the spring term of 2020.

Ingunn Gyða Hrafnkelsdóttir
Ingunn Gyða moved to London in 2015 to study Opera singing at a graduate level. She lives in Holloway and teaches beginners piano and singing. Ingunn Gyða started teaching for the Icelandic School in 2021.

Svava Heiðarsdóttir
Svava is a Speech-Language Pathologist who moved to London with her fiancé in January 2023. She works as a Visual Effect Artist and teaches Icelandic online on Preply. Svava started teaching for the Icelandic School in 2023.
